Shall I lace it?

I've finished the sewing of the wall hanging, with a layer of batting and ribbons to tie into a bow. Now leaves the question of shall I add the tatted lace? I've not finished it, but wanted your opinion. It's my favourite one shuttle design for edgings and it's tatted on Cebelia 30. I am thinking just the bottom edge of the ornament, or shall I go all around? Or shall I ommit the lace all together?

I love the lace, my vote would be to put it just on the bottom.

  2. I agree with Sue - have it just on the bottom but perhaps add in a couple more rows?

  3. It came out very nicely. I think I would omit the lace.

  4. Need you ask? Lace it, but only at the bottom. June's idea is also good, but if you want to add more layers, make it pointed going downwards.

  5. I think that you should go around the bottom, it is so beautiful, it will look fantastic!

Now that is what I call a TOTAL finish - you've done the x/s'ing, tatted the trim and patchworked the squares. Really, the only thing you haven't done is weave the fabric ;-)
