Tiny Pin Cushion

Since Margaret has been saying that a big pau(dumpling)-like pin cushion is in the making, I thought I'd make a her a tiny pin cushion to accompany it! A case of the opposites :) Since she is a Prarie Schooler fan and I'm on a 'no chart till X'mas state' ( a self-imposed torture :( ), my grey cells started working again thanks to the encouragement of you blogger friends, what better design than a PS freebie!! Talk about killing two birds with one stone :)

Design from Prarie Schooler (freebie)
Stitched with DMC threads on Cashel, 2/2

Glad you like it Margaret. You can find the freebie here.

At first glance I thought the tassels were part of a long strap that you had attached to the top part. I was thinking that MW can wear this on her neck while stitching or sewing..and won't have to search for a pin cushion when she needs one... silly me!

  6. Another beauty Barbara! Hey do you visit the Stitch Wizard? She's stitching up the logo on LHN website. She e-mailed Diane Williams and she said that no it's not a chart...so she printed it off and is stitching it. It has the lady from the Needleworker Prayer and the spools of thread from the Thread Gathering chart...but I printed off the logo and I think I'm going to stitch it too for myself...it would go lovely with your Stitchers Prayer project...she's on my sidebar at my blog if you want to go see what I mean Stitch Wizard is the blog name. Her name is Debbi and she's a fantastic woman :) Hugs dear!

  8. Hi Barbara:

Oh your little freebie came out just beautiful!! You have done a wonderful job stitching it! Thank you for the nice comments in my blog too! I am so flattered that you like my little needleworker and don't mind at all if you steel it! I hope it continues to look ok as I keep on with it! I told Little House Needleworks that she should sell it as a pattern but she said it is only a graphic on her website and not an actual pattern. Well now maybe we can all still stitch it! Debby :)
