A gift for Janet C

I finished the design quickly enough but the nun stitch all around the bookmark was a different story. It was so slow was really not going anywhere :) So it took me longer than I would have liked it.

Janet is a quilter and since joining NNC many months ago she's dabbling with cross stitch and crochet again. She's even taken up tatting at SNN! She's a Harry Porter fan and when Emily mentioned that Janet is a book lover what would be more apt as a gift than a bookmark?

Yep, nun stitch can be a bit tedious ;)

Love the bookmark too - the colour and the design!

  11. What a beautiful bookmark, Barbara. I am sure she will love it! I have found nun's stitch to take forever too. But it does make such a nice finish, and yours is just perfect!

That is so pretty! I agree the nun stitch can be a bear... but the results are worth it :)
