I finished the design quickly enough but the nun stitch all around the bookmark was a different story. It was so slow was really not going anywhere :) So it took me longer than I would have liked it.
Janet is a quilter and since joining NNC many months ago she's dabbling with cross stitch and crochet again. She's even taken up tatting at SNN! She's a Harry Porter fan and when Emily mentioned that Janet is a book lover what would be more apt as a gift than a bookmark?
That's a very lovely bookmark, BJ!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! When everyone at NNC start talking about the bookmark, I went searching/looking and wondering where's the link not realizing that its in your blog! LOL!! (sometimes a duh as what Nik would say)'wink'
ReplyDeleteYep, nun stitch can be a bit tedious ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the bookmark too - the colour and the design!
Lovely BJ, nice touch with the tiny heart. And I like the colour too. Now you know how to spell my name, right? ;-D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bookmark, love the colour

Oh, I am soooo happy to be in the Sisterhood with the rest of you lovely ladies! :-) And I can't wait to start on My Needle and My Floss once it arrives... I've loved that design since it came out! :-) Wooo Hoooo
