I tried marking with the water erasable pen, hera marker and masking tape. I like masking tape best. |

The beginnings of the Courthouse Steps block. Kathie gave me some tips and it's working! So I think I'll proceed with a 9 blocks or 16 blocks table topper.
Humble start to Lori's Strawberry Fields. I always like to try out one block to see if I can manage it and then proceed cutting for the rest of the blocks. And yes ... I'll be proceeding.
Boy's shirt in the making. This is a test run. Hope it works out well and then I can go fabric shopping :)
Cannot BELIEVE you said you had nothing to show this week.

Hi Barbara, Your little strippy triangles quilt is beautiful!!! Have you reached a verdict on the YLI? I also love your other little blocks, looks as though you have been spending lots of time in the sewing room too!!!
ReplyDeletelove your little quilt, beautiful hand quilting.
ReplyDeleteOH good glad you are happier with your courthouse step block, looking forward to your table topper done in the future.
I am looking forward to doing some hand quilting with pearle cotton soon as well.

Barbara your strippy triangles are gorgeous, love the blues and the reds. Your border and binding frame the quilt perfectly. The rich colours in your courthouse steps will make a beautiful table runner.
ReplyDeleteWow...... Great strippy quilt...
ReplyDeleteYou got quite a bit done for one week.
Good luck with the shirt.
Your doll quilt is really sweet but I love your courthouse steps block.

ReplyDeleteI love the doll quilt.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the boy's shirt. I always made the shirts for my husband and two boys and they turned out well without too much trouble.
