Strawberry Fields in Progress
I am so enjoying this quilt. It's a QAL called Strawberry Fields run by Lori last April. There are a million pieces to piece but if you approach it 'methodically' it's a breeze I assure you. I find Lori's QALs are somewhat challenging in terms of skill building and patience! She surely has a knack of making quilts that pushes the envelope! Not that I am complaining of course :)
After I complete Strawberry Fields I would have completed all 3 QALs that Lori has conducted. Here's Midnight Stars and Cheddar Cheese & Crackers revisted.
Now to look into quilting them?

Great job pursuing these projects. You will have a trio of quilts to enjoy for a long time.
ReplyDeleteWow! Barbara, I just love your new project, and yes there are a lot of pieces but as you say, methodical is the way to get it done!!! I think I like the Strawberry Fields the best!!!
ReplyDeleteGraet pics. Now I "get" how the red zig-zags are achieved.

You are really moving along with the Strawberry Fields SAL... Since I am using mine as a Leader/Ender it will take me longer of course. But I am enjoying it so very much.....
ReplyDeleteA million pieces for sure! This is the only one of Lori's quilt patterns that I made up but still have hopes of doing the other two. You did good!
ReplyDeleteYay! I am loving it!! Doing the square in a square blocks did get a little tedious......:)
ReplyDeleteyou are certainly approaching yours more methodicly than i approached mine and it's going to turn out to be another fabulous finish i can see that already~!!~
ReplyDeletei hope to someday do the other two as well.

Your QIPs are fantastic, Barbara! I always love your fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteBJ, I just love the way you have all those patchwork pieces organised in a tray while you work the quilt! Great idea! Can I copy? *wink*
ReplyDeleteI usually just have them in boxes.
